Tho Truong Vu

Tho Truong Vu is the President, Chief Engineer and the founder of of Top-Vu Technology, Inc. (https://www.topvu.com), a company that specializes in Chip Design and MicroSystems located in Minnesota (USA) .  His company obtained and has been successfully performing on several contracts, grants, and IR&D projects. The largest contracts to date are $830K from DoD and $550K from NASA, and the largest grant is $310K from NSF.  Prior to establishing Top-Vu Techology, Inc.; Mr. Vu held various technical positions at Honeywell Inc.;  Sperry Univac (now Unisys); and University of Minnesota.

Mr. Vu is the author or co-author of more than 60 research and review papers and holds 11 patents.  He served two consecutive terms as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems from 1988-91. He also is the author of a IEEE short course on System Insertion of GaAs Technology, and was a Lecturer for University of Minnesota Electrical Engineering Department on microelectronics at the undergraduate and graduate levels and served as a consultant for University of Minnesota Electrical Engineering Dept., 1994.  Mr. Vu received his B.S.E.E degree and his M.S.E.E degree, both from  University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology. He also finsihed Professional Development Recognition Program (PDRP Certificate), University of Minnesota, Graduate School, 1980-82, 2 years program with major in: Microelectronics. His post graduate study was in microelectronics III-V compound semiconductors with the emphasis on gallium arsenide (GaAs) integrated circuits.
