TRI CAO HUU, Ph.D.

Dr. Tri Caohuu has many years of work experience in the area of digital system design and implementation. He received the BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees, all in the Electrical Engineering, from San Diego State University, University of California at San Diego, and Texas A & M University, respectively. He is presently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University. He also heads a technology research and development group, MIAD Systems, Inc., and works as a consultant for a number of firms in the Bay Area. Prior to joining the faculty of San Jose State University, he was an Adjunct Professor in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Departments at Texas A & M University, and held various technical and management positions at Leigh System Inc., Baringger Research Ltd., Bell Northern Research (BNR), and EMC Ltd., all in Ontario, Canada. He was a Guest Professor at TU Darmstat, Germany. His research interests include high-speed architecture, parallel algorithm and computer geometry, area-time efficient VLSI systems for real-time image and pattern recognition. He is a faculty advisor of the Vietnamese Student Association(VSA) and the Vietnamese Engineering Student Association (VESA) at San Jose State University.
