DIEM VAN NGUYEN

DIEM VAN NGUYEN received the B.S.E.E degree from Texas Tech University, and the M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Houston in Clear Lake City. Mr. Diem has been supporting NASA since 1977. He has more than sixteen years of experience in the area of system engineering and analysis, system integration and verification for large scale communications processing system. He participated in standards development activities as an active member of the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) for many years. He was selected as an honoree of the Manned Flight Awareness Program. He was a member of the Executive Committee organizing the third International Symposium on Space Mission Operations and Ground Data Systems - SpaceOps 94. Presently, he is an active member of the National Management Association (NMA); SEAS Central Engineering Board; Diversity Committee at Loral AeroSys reporting directly to the Vice-President, and the Standards Planning Working Group for Goddard Space Flight Center. Mr. Diem was the chairman of VACETS International Affairs Subcommittee Chairman and a co-chair of VTIC 96 during the term 1995-1996.
