GIOAN VAN NGUYEN, C.P.A., LLM.

Mr. Gioan Van Nguyen was born in Saigon, where he received the degrees LLB (in business & economics laws) and LLM (Master of Law in Economics) from the University of Saigon-Law school. He also was a doctoral candidate majoring in economics until 1975. Mr. Nguyen came to USA in April 1975 as a refugee. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Graduate Business School, with the MBA degree in Tax and Accounting in 1980. He graduated from The George Washington Law School-Post-JD Program with the degree Master of Law American Practice in 1984. His professional certifications include Virginia State CPA (Certified Public Accountant), and Virginia State Attorney at Law.

Prior to running his own law practice since 1995, Mr. Nguyen was a Tax Specialist at Crum & Forster Corporation (1975-1981), a Tax Manager at CACI International Inc.(1982-1992), the Tax Director at CACI International Inc. (1993-1995). He is also a familiar figure in the Vietnamese Community in the D.C. area. He was a founder of the EDEN Shopping Center projec, is the Chairman of the Board and CEO of VINA ENTERPRISES INC. -- the company that owned and managed the EDEN project until 1996. He also served as the Secretary of the Vietnamese Lawyer Association (1983-1984).
