This conference, with the theme "Key Technologies for the Year 2000", focuses the discussions on pacing technologies that are believed to be key technologies in the Year 2000 and beyond.

VTIC '97 will provide an excellent opportunity for engineers, scientists and VACETS members to meet for technology exchange, networking and friendship. We would like to encourage the participation of students and newly graduates, as well as extending the invitation of participation to the high-tech companies.
San Jose, the nation's eleventh largest city located in Santa Clara County, is known as the Capital of Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley is the world's leader in innovation and advanced technology research. Its neighbour, the San Francisco (50 miles North), is the world's number one visitor destination, and the reasons for this distinction are many.
If you and your spouse or friends have been waiting for a perfect diverse technical conference to attend together, VTIC '97 is it.
